Classification of transmission chain:

1. Stainless steel chain

The parts of the industrial transmission chain are made of stainless steel, which is suitable for the food industry, the places susceptible to chemical corrosion, and can also be used in high and low temperature places.

2. Three types of chains

Transmission chain All chains made of carbon steel materials can be surface treated. The surface of the parts is nickel-plated, zinc-plated or chrome-plated. It is suitable for outdoor rain corrosion and other occasions, but it cannot prevent the corrosion of concentrated chemical liquids.

3. Self-lubricating chain

Conveyor chain parts are made of sintered metal impregnated with lubricating oil. The chain has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, no maintenance, and long service life. It is widely used in places with high stress, high wear resistance and frequent maintenance, such as automated production lines in the food industry, bicycle racing, and high-precision transmission machinery with low maintenance.

4. Sealing ring chain

The o-shaped sealing ring is installed between the inner and outer chain plates of the roller chain to prevent dust from entering and grease from flowing out of the hinge. The chain is strictly pre-lubricated. Due to the reliable lubrication of the chain parts, it can be used for open transmissions such as motorcycles.

5. Rubber chain

In this kind of chain, a U-shaped attachment plate is added to the outer link based on the A and B series chains, and rubber (such as natural rubber NR, silicone rubber SI, etc.) is glued to the attachment plate to increase the amount of wear and tear. Reduce noise and increase impact resistance. Used for transportation.

6. Sharp tooth chain

It is widely used in the wood industry, such as wood feeding and discharging, cutting, conveyor transportation, etc.

7. Agricultural machinery chain

Suitable for field operation machinery such as walking tractors, threshers, combine harvesters and so on. This kind of chain requires low cost, but can withstand impact and wear resistance. In addition, the chain should be automatically lubricated.

8. High-strength chain

It is a special roller chain. By improving the shape of the chain plate, thickening the hole of the chain plate, and strengthening the pin by heat treatment, the tensile strength can be increased by 15-30%, and it has good impact and fatigue properties.

9. Side bending chain

This kind of chain hinge has a large hinge gap and a large chain plate gap, so it has great flexibility and can be used for bending transmission and transportation.

10. Escalator chain

Used for escalators and sidewalks. Escalators have long working hours, high requirements and stable operation. Therefore, the step chain is required to reach the specified tensile load, the total length deviation of the two pairs of chains and the step distance deviation.

11. Motorcycle chain

According to the definition of chain usage, there are two types of chains: roller chains and bushing chains. Judging from the parts used on motorcycles, there are two types: those used inside the engine and those used outside the engine. Most of the chains used inside the engine are sleeve chain structures, and the outside of the engine is a transmission chain used to drive the rear wheels.

12. Clamp the conveyor chain

It is suitable for walking wheat and rice harvesters, stationary rice and wheat motor threshers, and semi-feeding combine harvesters.

13. Hollow pin chain

For transportation, single pitch, double pitch, long pitch. Attachments or crossbars can be inserted into any link of the chain without disassembling the chain.

14. Time chain

Used for transmission between the engine crankshaft and camshaft. Because there are strict requirements for the matching of engine piston stroke and exhaust time, the chain used for this purpose is called a timing chain. Roller chains and toothed chains can be used as timing chains. Timing chains are mainly used to drive the engines (diesel or gasoline engines) of automobiles, motorcycles and ships. In order to reduce the weight of the engine, the installation gap between the chain and the engine is very small, and some do not even have a tensioning device. Therefore, the timing chain requires high precision and high wear resistance.
